Random sketch time~ (or rather.... not so random sketch.
) Because I noticed I hadn't uploaded anything to me gallery in almost two months? O__O Meep.
Medium: Pencil on parchment
Aaaaand, that's it. Nothing more to say about it. Except for the fact that - yeep! For once a character that has nothing at all to do with the usual guys from my usual world! No Lularum or Luc! (O shock!)

There is one other person like ye who says this, and so, has managed to make me take the first step into madness and actually show these in a er... proper show. All my drawings that is.
And not a stupid question! I don't think I ever showed any art of her here soooooo~~~~ X'D *the lazy bum who be ashamed of sketches* She's Latona. Based off this character in this MMO that I be pottering about in these days. (Speaking of which, the whole series of these sketches is loosely based off this... MMO. :'D The quality of me topics is just getting better and better these days, ne? X'D *shot* )

There's nothing wrong with getting inspired by MMO's, if art snobs make funny faces at that just tell them it's basically 'contemporary, interactive, new media storytelling'

Meh, I hate pooh-poohing aunties/uncles and their stupid issues... elitist art critics in general! (one of the reasons why I donβt feel like exhibiting work in galleries in the first place -_-).
You might know of this, but hereβs another defense against their kind. I'm not trying to label or categorize your work but these should be of some interest to you... Super Flat and Takashi Murakami. Everytime the pooh poohers have issues with games, comics etc as inspiration you can refer to this 'contemporary phenomena' which is also inspired by such stuff and is currently hot stuff!
I'm babbling, somewhere around midnight at a particular lunar phase(new moon in my case) I like to think I'm an art critic, the very creatures I despise and fear
