My first time drawing Aang. Can everyone tell?! XD My goodness, but I had no idea what I was doing. And the canvas was sooooo small. x.x I started it at 300x250 and kept it. So very tiny picture (with lots of detail) crammed into a little canvas. I was gonna do Sokka as the focus, then I thought Zuko would be cool, but then decide to draw the main character. JOIN THAT CLUB!

Done in oC3 in a couple hours. As you can see, I tried my hand at cel-shading again. I'm not sure if it was too successful. Thankfully, unlike Sokka and Zuko, there were many Aang pics to look at for reference! >D I know his clothes seem to be, er, flow-y, but I just love drawing cloth and got carried away.

EDIT: It's now an official deviation, since it IS a finished work.

EDIT2: Quit informing me about this image being shown at ComicCon '06. I'm well aware of it. However, I did not authorize that this image be shown there. I am currently ignoring the fact that image was even shown there and asking places that have this image there to kindly take it down. This was a private image done for ~avatar-fan and I would like for it to remain an exclusive piece for the club. If I hear anymore about it, I'm going to take this image down. If you want to ask me why I'm so passionate about this (trust me, I'm not being a diva but I have actual reasons for my annoyance) please do note me and I will tell you straight up why. But please, for love of God, stop informing of this.
