My latest piece was, or rather will be when finished, inspired by the anime and manga Chorno Crusade (aka Chrno Crusade) which I just recently watched and am now reading in its manga format. Since I watched that series, I was intriqued by the intimiate relationship between Rosette and Chrono/Chrno the main characters; a demon and a human bound together by magic as well as their deep feelings for each other..... Immediately after seeing its rather.....emotional ending (the anime ending as I have yet to finish reading the manga) I wanted to draw/paint a picture of Rosette and Chrono which would be challenging being that I have never drawn these characters before. But this is my attempt which I hope to eventually paint when I tweak it just a bit more..... I thought that I'd post the sketch here for now. ^_^ Thanks for looking everyone!Related content

That's so sweet! I'm so glad you like my sketch as I worked very very hard on it! Chrono was SO hard to draw! But I'm glad that I was able to pull it off for the most part. Anyways thank you once again!

your black and white work is as amazing as your colored. I really wonder how you get everything so perfect. It looks amazing down to the last detail.

Personally, most of my work is in scraps. Poetry, uncolored works, etc., anything I don't think people should look at unless they are really looking for it which no one ever is, so its helpful. But your work is always really well refined, though I doubt people would mind seeing the original sketches. It would be interesting to see what you start with before you begin to paint.

Heh, I'm sometimes a little embarrassed to put sketches up but every once in a while I like getting feedback on preliminaries, such as the sketch I just put up. I'll definetly have to get a better look at your stuff too though! ^_^

Alright, I'll try to find the time to. (no, I didn't die, College stole me away) And I actually did try something with water colors that I think actually turned out alright considering it's my first ever try with them. I'll see about posting it when I get back to school (and my printer) but can I just scan it?

I've yet to see this manga or anime @_@; It does seem interesting and by golly gee . . .gods something else blah holy . . wow,the drawing is beautiful

Well I found the series to be interesting ^_^; Its not for everyone though. Some people were turned off by the relgious overtones. I rather liked that myself but honestly my favorite element really was the pairing of Chrono and Rosette, hence the painting.

Yay! ^__^ You like Chrono Crusade too? That's so awesome! I don't know many people who do! I just got into it recently and I LOVED Chrono and Rosette! I simply had to try a piece with the two of them. I'm still not done with the painting yet, but I hope that you willl check it out when it's finished! I'm very happy that you like the sketch so far! Whoa..... So you haven't finished the anime yet..... Hmm.... Well you'll have to let me know what you think of it. I..... certainly didn't expect it to end the way it did. I'm waiting to see if the manga has a different ending oompletely, as I've heard. But yeah... again thanks for the interest! I'll try to finish the pic soon!

I bought the entire series on ebay so that's why I've seen the ending. Let me know what you think of it when you do ok? And yeah.... I'm waiting for the next manga volumes to come out too.

Thank you so much! And yes, you should check it out! It's the first series I've been excited about in YEARS! The anime was good.....overall..... But if you watch it I recommend you also read the translated manga which gives a LOT more depth to the plot. The anime was very enjoyable and heartfelt..... but it was altered a great deal from the original story. So I think it's a series that you should check out both the anime and manga and just take the best elements from both. That's my experience anyway. ^_^ Thanks again for your comments!
