Description
Inspired by taking vertebrate zoology[EDIT]: looks like I got featured in a video about the plausibility of hexapoda and dragons!

i love this so much. only thing that doesn't fit quite right with me is that feathers would evolve 3 times here. i would place hexamarephuma at the same junction as hexabeatitaquila and hexoaves, giving them all 1 ancestor that would develop feathers. they would still evolve twise with hexamammila, but it solves 1 "problem".
but i also love this too bloody much. definitely going to download it (:

yeah that wasn't something I was thinking about (I should have though) but twice you can just chalk it up to convergent evolution kind of how snake re-evolved eyes from tier fossorial lizard kin

This reminds me of Centaur no Nayami. Because in Centaur no Nayami all tetrapod life evolves from six-limed animals (hexapods), which is why things like centaurs, angels, and imps exist, very similar to this. Here's a link to a portion of chapter 5.5 which explains it in further detail:Β ibb.co/iPsZmv

Found your artwork late last night after it was used in a video on youtube which I think was called "the science of dragons", refering to how six limbed creatures/dragons couldn't exist in the real world.Β
WEll thought out, (your picture and the video,) and great artwork!Β

A very nice take on the "six limbs" theory. I like how you arranged the Hexapoda in a similar evolutionary tree to Tetrapoda.
