I'm back! Finally! My first drawing since last summer! And right now I am already excited about Cars 2 and I've been wanting to draw this character for weeks now. This be Siddeley the Spy Jet and he seems pretty cool to me. I love the fact that he's British too.Nothing much to complain about which is good. I was afraid after such a long hiatus I may have lost my touch, but for that reason I started out with something relatively simple. The reflections (especially the wing reflection) were a little hard, and so was his mouth, but I think I made it werk

ok, i'm a little frustrated my drawing isn't going so well.
can i use the google image for this to do a pen & ink drawing?

What do you mean? Base your drawing off mine? You know mine was based off the publicity shot for him (used as a wallpaper on the Cars website too) which I'm sure would be easy to find.

Umm...only as a last resort. YouTube doesnt always give me a clear enough picture. If i'm looking for a specific screenshot and I have access to the DVD I'll play it on my computer and do a print screen of that.

Well I'm not sure how easy that would be to find. The easiest way to get it would be to use a print screen off the dvd

Googlr images helped a little, but i couldn't find EXACTLY what i was looking for.

i drew the google image original of this a year ago with pen & marker, and it was really hard!
i may try a drawing of Siddely in pencil in the near future...

Oh....lemme think...3-4 hours maybe? No more than five. Siddeley actually was a little quicker for me because he doesnt have quite as much detail as some of the other Cars drawings I've done

I've heard of Planes but i'm not even sure who its affiliated with. I dont think Pixar's doing it, or else if it is it's Pixar Canada or something. I thought Disney was doing it but I'm not sure

Thats right. Disney Toon does a lot of the direct to video stuff and kinda came out of the studios that did the old tv shows in the late 80s and 90s
