"He's a wallflower."Most of you guys know what book thats from, but if you don't its from "The Perks of being a Wallflower". I've read it three times since I got assigned the book by my english teacher last week and I still love it xD. For one of our projects in the class we had to draw something from the book that would represent a couple of the chapters, aaand I kinda went overboard OTL; but I'm pleased with how it came out.
I'm still trying to fight off whatevers left of my damn artblock and its still really difficult for me to do anything substantial as far as traditional goes, but this is a step.
Anddd! I used watercolor for the first time! (I never thought I'd use the painting category on DA xD) It was a lot of fun and I really hope to work with it some more later. Its such a relaxing process, painting. I love it so much. I hope to get a lot better at it and I was really restricted on what colors I could use here because I borrowed one of those cheap little pallets from my art teacher with like 8 colors xD.
Overall I hope you guys like it. c:
Tools: Micron Pens (Size 5, 3, & 1). Watercolors.
Time Taken: 30 minute sketch, 30 minute lines, 1 hour painting.
Music: Wolfmother, Regina Spektor, The Smiths, The Temper Trap.

I didn't get to finnish that book but I loved what I read from it.
I must find it in the library so I can read the whole story.
But this looks great.
