How to take point commissions and still earn REAL FRESH MONEY!
What you need:
Be a Premium Member BETA TESTER
Have a Paypal
That easy!
However if you are going to do this dA takes a part of the money you earn. Around 20 Points on Every 80 points [I think]
Which makes you earn only 60 points even if you sell for 80.
That´s why I suggest you think that 1 Dollar = 100 points
Instead of 80, that way you won´t lose anything on it. *w* ~
How to do it!
You need to upload your picture to Sta.sh
Then Click on the Uploaded picture in your Sta.sh.
It should look something like this.
Then you click on the select CATEGORY
It is above the description
Then you should end up HERE
SCROLL DOWN
Until you come to THIS
Here you see down to the left "Generate earnings"
And beneath "Sell downloads as premium content"
Select THAT BOX
And it will look like this!
Here you decide how much to sell your picture for.
As I said dA "takes" 20 points/ 0.20 $ so I suggest to think that 1 $= 100
If you are selling a piece that is a commission for example I suggest that you crop the picture to the extreme or something until the person has Bought it!
OR make a picture beforehand that says "PAY FOR COMMISSIONS HERE"
You can always change how much it should cost, so you can change it for every commissioner
That way the Da points come to use again for real purpose!
HOWEVER
You cannot withdraw your money to PayPal until you have earned at least 5 $
How do I see my earnings?
SIMPLE!
You go to this box. And down to the right you can see "MY EARNINGS"
Click there!
AND.......... VOILA!

As it shows in the picture, you seem to be able to withdraw earnings through a check. But you would be better off getting a parent or elder sibling/friend to create a paypal so the money can be sent there.

You should be able to do it as a free member. Providing you receive payment through either the commission widget or the premium content way, then you should be able to receive real money from it.

It depends on how they pay it. If they pay it by the donation widget or through the give then it will only come up as points (but you will receive the full amount of points. For example if it cost 60 points and they pay through the donation widget or the give way then you will receive 60 points) but not real money. BUT, if you set up premium content (i dont think you need a premium membership for that though) so they can pay that way or if you set it up through the commission widget then it can be turned into real money. Again though, if it costs 60 points (and you've set the premium content or the commission widget section to cost 60 points) then you will receive 60 cents.

I would say that if you NEVER withdrew it then yes it would eventually expire. But my guess is it would either tell you when it was close to expiring, OR you would have maybe 2 weeks? That's when things normally expire (well offers ect.) over here in AUS, maybe try comparing the rough expire offer date for America, it may help with finding a rough estimate if they do have an expiry date.

Also giving all your points to someone else to then "buy" something from you so you can convert it into money is also illgeal.

If you do that you will be restrained and all your points will be taken by dA staff.
You are not allowed to convert already existing points that you have yourself, give it to a friend, then let the friend buy from you.
