How to take point commissions and still earn REAL FRESH MONEY!
What you need:
Be a Premium Member BETA TESTER
Have a Paypal
That easy!
However if you are going to do this dA takes a part of the money you earn. Around 20 Points on Every 80 points [I think]
Which makes you earn only 60 points even if you sell for 80.
That´s why I suggest you think that 1 Dollar = 100 points
Instead of 80, that way you won´t lose anything on it. *w* ~
How to do it!
You need to upload your picture to Sta.sh
Then Click on the Uploaded picture in your Sta.sh.
It should look something like this.
Then you click on the select CATEGORY
It is above the description
Then you should end up HERE
SCROLL DOWN
Until you come to THIS
Here you see down to the left "Generate earnings"
And beneath "Sell downloads as premium content"
Select THAT BOX
And it will look like this!
Here you decide how much to sell your picture for.
As I said dA "takes" 20 points/ 0.20 $ so I suggest to think that 1 $= 100
If you are selling a piece that is a commission for example I suggest that you crop the picture to the extreme or something until the person has Bought it!
OR make a picture beforehand that says "PAY FOR COMMISSIONS HERE"
You can always change how much it should cost, so you can change it for every commissioner
That way the Da points come to use again for real purpose!
HOWEVER
You cannot withdraw your money to PayPal until you have earned at least 5 $
How do I see my earnings?
SIMPLE!
You go to this box. And down to the right you can see "MY EARNINGS"
Click there!
AND.......... VOILA!

It works now as a non premium member. But true I use this widget but I don't accept the submissions from it. I note the commissioner so he pays in the donation pool. ^^

20% isn't really that bad. They have to have money somehow. And it just gives another opportunity to earn some extra cash. And if they didn't have the 20% royalty free points to money wouldn't last long, and would loose income to users, and a loss for point holders. So what if It cost more. As long as you earn decent cash. It's worth it.

Alternatively, if you have premium membership and are a beta-tester, you can now use the Commissions Widget which will ask for points as payment but will automatically generate your earnings into money, which can be withdrawn from the My Earnings screen.
Note: DA takes 20% of whatever you charge through the C.W., so the conversation rate is approximately 100

Sadly no. If they were given to you by donation (or you purchased them yourself) then conversion isn't possible. The points have to be given through a purchase or they won't be sent them to your Earnings and converted.

No, thats how long it takes for deviant to process the transaction, and to give the person who bought it a chance to request a refund. After the 14 days you can withdraw it by paypal or check. it doesn't get removed by anyone except you.

Not being able to convert points into money as a normal member just shows that they only care for paying members.
Besides this really isn't a benefit for paying for a premium membership.
Instead, premium memebers show get all of the money for selling their art(not being charged DA taxes).

Well, it's already converted. You have to use premium content -- which is enabled for any member in the submit section.
Then it should be there and says, if it's 10 points you earned... [0.10 / 8
