Description
I know this is probably the most over-used joke in the Zelda universe, but I couldn't resist. If Link is left-handed, and Dark is his mirror opposite, then Dark should be right-handed. If I owned Nintendo, that's how it would be. Sadly all I own is this tablet, so I shall continue to draw Dark however I please!
The text at the top says "stop hitting yourself" in TP Hylian. I know that because I'm a geek.

XD That is hilarious! And the picture looks amazing.
And just to give you an idea of how impressed I am by these: I've never even PLAYED any of the Link games. Although I do confess to a small parcel of knowledge about the characters that lets me enjoy fun pictures like these.

Oh, but you must go play them! They're a lot of fun, and so very addicting. I suggest you start with Ocarina of Time; that's the game that got me hooked.
Plus it's the game that this particular picture is from, and the epic battle with Dark Link is just awesome.

I have ONE of them around here; an old first-gen Gameboy game. But I started playing it and it had a REALLY boring startup, so I didn't pursue it much. I only got it about a month ago, though, and it came w/ a Gameboy Advance SP (both together WITH charger cord for TWO DOLLARS!!! Best deal EVER!). It's...*runs to check* Oracel of Ages. And I can't play TP, seeing as I've only got a humble old PS2.
I do pride myself, though, on being able to gather scraps of knowledge on popular games and fandoms, to the extent that I can enjoy and/or converse about them even if I haven't played the game! It comes w/ having friends who are avid gamers. XD

I've never played the Oracle games, but I did play Link's Awakening, which is the first Zelda game for the Game Boy. I don't think the 2D games are nearly as fun as the 3D games.
You wanna talk boring? The beginning of Twilight Princess is basically about an hour of you doing meaningless chores for your neighbors (supposedly so you can get used to the game controls, but still!). But then in the span of about thirty seconds your girlfriend gets kidnapped by monsters and you pursue them into a parallel dimension and turn into a werewolf, so that pretty much makes up for it.
I know what you mean by the whole gathering scraps of information thing. I have a friend who's obsessed with Ouran Host Club, which is an anime I've never even seen and yet know everything about. I guess it's just something you pick up.

That might explain the lack of interest I'm feeling. I always was a sucker for good graphics. ^^
XD Yeah, I can see how that WOULD make up for quite a bit!
*laughs* Exactly. I could easily identify most characters and plot points from Final Fantasy VII thanks to my friends in high school having such an obsession over it.

Mind you I never say "lol," but it's the only word I can think of to appropriately describe this.
I lol'd at it.

Funnily enough, I had a friend who said I should caption this: "LAWLZ".
