Ok, ok, I know- it's a big file at almost 2MB, but that's the smallest I could get it without sacrificing image quality! Seriously! And for those of you who are going to say "Save it as a jpeg!", I already tried that. It doubled the file size, and looked like ass. So you get the superior png format.
[Hooray for Imageready- saved my butt by about 600k!]Anyway...I've actually gotten a couple of requests for a tutorial on how I color my pics. This is for Opencanvas, but you can easily modify it to work with photoshop. Just replace the words 'pen tool' with 'paintbrush tool' and you'll be set! XD
But, uh, yeah. Sorry for the length and the weirdness of this tutorial. It was my first one- please be kind! ^_^
In addition, if you fav this tutorial, please let me know if it worked for you by dropping me a line. Hell, even post a link to a pic you colored using techniques from this tutorial! I'd love to see it if I help or inspire people, or even just make someone go- "Oh, I never thought about doing it THAT way before!". ^^
