TumblrI felt like painting Turtwig. This little starter is so cute and makes me reminisce about my Pearl game. Torterra was special. It is the only pokemon that I have trained all the way to level 100, and I did it without using an AR code and it definitely took a lot of time and effort.
I experimented with a new painting style this time. It looks pretty good!
EDIT: I refined Turtwig a bit and changed the colors on the background from red and blue to orange and purple.

Yes, Turtwig is my favorite grass starter too! I have too many memories with my Torterra. My favorite water starter is Froakie, though I know it's very common and nearly worthless in the X and Y Wonder trade. I don't really have a favorite fire-type starter. What about yours?

Well... My starter Pokémon in Black 2 version is Tepig and Froakie in Y version.
If I can't wait for new Pokémon games: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, I choose Treecko.

Sorry for answering late. I honestly don't know which starter I'm going to choose for the Hoenn remakes. I'll probably choose the one that would hardest to train in the region, like either Mudkip or Torchic.
