They think, this place is very stable but... in fact, in every flash the nest can be on the ground...
When I took this pic, a feelings was rather scary- what's it, if all collapsed in just this moment?
But as U see, I upload this pic, so all is okidoki with me! 
Yeah, it's an old church ruins in Ergeme, Latvia.
EDITED: Almost forgot- there in this nest were a stork family!

Tnx sweetie, it isn't HDR (how I know- we need a three different exposition pics for HDR), here's only one pic. But I make something like fake HDR, if there in original pic is great contrast, like in this pic- dark building against the bright sky.

Stork's parent and child was able to fly away before it collapsed and it was good.
And, because you were not injured, either I was relieved.
In the earthquake large country, the building where the stonework is high is hardly seen.

And -yupo- here in Latvia we haven't earthquakes, and we've many historical stone buildings, like this church- but we've another problem that ruined all stone buildings without a roof- it's a winter, it's water and ice that destructs stone walls.

From history- for a castles and rich houses the ordinary roof was from a clay tiles. For all other houses, barns etc was a wood shingles. Wood roof will serve about 20-30 years, clay roof- about 100 years. But here in Latvia are castles from a year 1200 so... U understand, no one roof can serve so long.

I think the period to the collapse to be shortened in becoming unoccupied even if it doesn't come up at the service life.
If the thing made from person's hand doesn't have the restorer even if made from what kind of material, it is impossible to maintain long years.
Age that was architectural as long time is spent, and maintained importantly putting a long term.
I am feelings that want to see an appearance at that time at the time of prospered when there is a time machine.
