i really like this one, the elephant is enraptured by the fruit and it is a wonderful example of you great skill with shadow and texture, allowing you to create an almost living feeling. you can almost feel how much he wants that fruit.

This is really my favorite piece of you, it's cute, it feels soft, it's really well rendered.. like the tusk's casting shadow on the trunk, the reflected light from the grass... the angle of persp is really cool too...... only little critique would be the grass at his feet or the emptiness of the sky....Β MAKE MORE LIKE THIS!!Β Β

Thank you man, I really appreciate it!
This was actually done really fast, in about 2-3 hours. I think many ppl like this one because it sort of tells a story while my other works are more like practices..

I recently started to combine my practices with story-telling and it helps a lot to drive the fun in doing it, the ideas and the visual style... (and it catches other people's eye too). I think in all the stuff you did, that kind of image and rendering is the style that represents you the most... when I think of Yancur, I have this image in my mind

Thank you!
Yes the story telling is a big thing But usually I have to think about that quite a lot to make it good
I often just want to practice a style or whatever I have in mind. But sometimes I like to put in some story behind the drawing as my skills (hopefully) improve
I also like your works that have a really good story behind them, more than the practices though, obviously both are needed for an artist!
