And the finished product. Still not totally sure how I feel about how it turned out, but I'm satisfied that I went with a more minimalistic shading style as I didn't want to muddle the linework. As for what is happening in the picture, here is my predicted timeline:

In one minute, the only person standing up is going to be the Demoman.

In five minutes, the Heavy is going to vomit on the Sniper's boots, and then walk off with his akubra.

In thirty minutes, the Soldier is going to be sleeping with the Spy and probably the Engineer. The Scout, Heavy and Pyro are going to be risking life and limb by attempting to play darts together. The Demoman is going to be chatting happily with the Medic while holding him up over a toilet. The Medic is going to be puking up everything he's ever eaten. The Sniper will be face-down somewhere, his wristwatch and wallet having been taken by the Spy.
