I don't feel the snow leopard's head is to small. The leopard does seem to be gigantic; since the artist has already mentioned that the woman is small. But really the proportions don't concern me, it's truly a beautiful piece. I do have a question though...are they in the climate he's evolved for or the climate she's dressed for?
