"Show that a person is introverted through your drawing."

Being introverted does not mean you don't like being around people. Many introverts are very social... it's all about HOW you gain energy. Introverts charge when they are alone, or with a few very close friends/family. Being around a large number of people drains them after a time. Introverts want to go home and rest/read/write/draw after a long day of school or work, where the extrovert is more willing to go right back out again. They are charged up by being around other people all day, and they're ready to go. Introverts need a little more time to recharge their batteries, that's all. Introverts, ever notice how you REALLY like talking to people online via chat or message, but you feel tired after talking to people irl? That's okay, it just shows you do like interacting with people but maybe you don't have the energy to do it face to face at the moment. Don't let anyone tell you you're anti-social just because you can't keep up the interactions all day.

My sister was in her senior year of high school (last year) and her psychology class was talking about Myers Briggs. Most of the class was extroverted including the teacher (my sister was one of the four introverts in the entire room). They were quick to point out all the pros for extroverts and cons for introverts, the TEXT BOOK had a list that was basically in that manner. It really rubbed my sister the wrong way. Even the teacher seemed to be encouraging it, though I'm sure he didn't do it intentionally. There seemed to be a shear lack of understanding for people who function differently.

Extroverts, it is totally OK and awesome that you talk with everyone in the room and still feel rearing to go for more conversation. It's not fair that there's this idea extroverts are loud and/or less intimate or close with their friends. The way you charge your energy is different, that's all. On the flip side, it's okay introverts if you aren't charged enough to talk with everyone in the room, or you want your alone time to recharge. You may notice that some people are more energetic at the beginning of the day before interacting with a lot of people, and others are more pumped and energetic at the end of the day after being around a ton of people? Yep. That's one way it shows.

Anyway, rant done. People, just try to understand each other and it should work out. We have different needs and tendencies, that's okay.
