-This Pokemon is one-of-a-kind, evolved by the impossible: When PokiNA is holding an Eviolite, the item that prevents Evolution, it evolves into CompokNA.
-CompokNA is the unexpected result of an experiment. Scientists tried to imitate pokemon's DNA in order to understand it better by creating PokiNA. Evolution though, found its way, making PokiNA able to evolve into CompokNA. They can now breed with the egg being either PokiNA (99% chance) or a shiny CompokNA (1% chance).
