Wooo it's finally done! Done for for the site Pastando en Mulgore . These are the site's Tauren mascots in *gasp* alliance form!I tried my best to keep their "taurenness" intact despite being alliance races, hopefully that came through!
The orginal Tauren artwork on the website's header was done by , and it was also those pics that I used as a reference

hehe, well, if I had the spare money and you had spots open for commissions I'd totally commission you for a picture of my shaman and paladin (both lovely draenei ladies) but sadly things don't quite always work out the way we want them to xD

I agree with shepherdessdog, that part of the digigrade leg is more like an elbow, not an ankle. You can bend the hooves downward like toes, but otherwise, her leg is just going to look wonky.
Very nice coloring and that is a beautiful background.

It looks really good except for the draenei's leg. It really shouldn't bend like that, unless it's crazy double-jointed or broken. I like how you painted in the background instead of just using a screen capture too.

The hilarious thing about this? Were it not for gameplay mechanics, the Tauren MIGHT have joined the Alliance after all the BS Garrosh put them through.

I dunno about that... During the Mak'gora between Garrosh and Cairne, it was noted that there were a considerable number of Tauren on Garrosh's side.

Grimtotem, likely. Also, much of the grief Garrosh put them through has happened AFTER he managed to redeem himself for that duel. Bane currently sees the Horde as almost a necessary evil, especially given that the Tauren are once again openly friendly with their ancestral allies the Kal'dorei despite the open war going on all over the place. He mostly knows that joining the Alliance would not be very likely in the short-term even if Garrosh decided to royally screw over the Tauren, and short-term without the Horde does not look good to him, so the Tauren remain faithful to the Horde.
Plus I'm sure more than the players are hoping Thrall will beat Garrosh's ass between expansions and return as Warchief.

I quote from the book:
"He could not see far enough to distinguish individuals from Garrosh's side, but he could see clearly in the orange light that, mixed among the green, purple, gray, and pink skins of orc, troll, Forsaken, and blood elf, were the black and brown and white coats of Tauren."
We know that all Grimtotem are black.
And Garrosh at first glance may seem like a prime asshole, and I thought so too, but the more I learned about him, the more I grew to like him. Remember, he killed an orc to defend a Tauren.

Yeah, but doesn't change the fact that there were Taurens rooting for him in the Mak'gora in the first place, and not Grimtotems either.
