Meiles and Yarifeth trying NOT to get the achievement [Stood in the Fire] XD Sorry, Yari, but your Power Word: Shield isn't really helping.Yeah, so I got a few people saying I should finish this, so... Okay, so still not a "finished" piece, but at least I slapped in some quick shading in there! So... I'm done with this one XD
Meiles has two raptors. The aqua raptor (female) and the black raptor (male). When Deathwing hit, he lost his aqua raptor
He lost his cat too Aw, poor pets. But at least he was able to save his pet belf!Since Cata brought in some big changes to Azeroth, before it hit I was thinking up some big changes for them too. Namely, Meiles finally putting a ring on that thing (well, not literally, since he's not really the engagement ring type), his retirement as a hunter and being back to full time witch doctor, and the death of his brother Muk'tal.
As for Yari, I was gonna have Meiles take her to study troll priesthood with the Zandalari on Yojamba isle, but quite unexpectedly for me, the Zandalaris turned bad! So... there goes that idea!
It DID open up an opportunity for me to make Muk'tal's death a bit more dramatic and significant though, since the Gurubashi got involved and Meiles and Muk'tal happen to be half Gurubashi (which explains why they use blood magic so much). So I guess it was a good trade off!

Poor Yari, that shield clearly isn't working for you X( This is why druids are so useful, Displacer Beast and Flight Form would get you out of there pretty quick, but unfortunately no such luck for hunters or priests. Now a question, when are you gonna be updating your Yari and Meil comics?

Hrmm... I'm a bit familiar with lore, actually. Call me curious, but what other half are the troll brothers you speak of? If it is Darkspear, they would probably mean they are "full" Gurubashi, as most (if not all) of the Darkspear tribe are actually runaways. I don't mean to muddle into your story of course. I tend to ramble, is all.

I'm also quite familiar with lore myself. I speak of the Darkspears separately because they have already broken away from the empire and haven't been considered part of it for a long while. Add to that the fact that the Darkspear trolls are known to be smaller (though more cunning) than the rest of the trolls in STV, and you actually have yourself a slightly different brand of troll.
By the, being half Gurubashi, I mean that they have a parent who is still a full fledged member of the empire.

First time I got 'Stood in the Fire' friend and I had just spent like 20m clearing mobs out to this rather tough quest mob. We run up to him... boom. Stood in the Fire. DW killed our quest mob too. >.>

I just don't get this type of achievemnts. "Get hit by fire", is it really that hard to accomplish? All you have to do is stand still.

You're being too angsty about it. I think it's just for fun and a quick laugh. You're quietly questing, minding your own business, suddenly a BIG FUCKING DRAGON WITH A METAL FACE COMES OUT OF NOWHERE AND FRIES YOU. I think it embodies the spirit of Cataclysm quite well.
It's not even something you "accomplish". It's just mostly a joke achievement that you get if you're unlucky enough to be at the wrong place at the right time.

Deathwing actually just killed me last night -_-. I was just minding my own business doing bear stuff when all of a sudden the sky turned red and I was running for my life to get away from the flames! I already had the achievement so this was no where close to a blessing in disguise.

Nice work with the lighting! I really love the colors. I never did get that achievement, which was unfortunate...I guess? XD
And in regard to the Zandalari (and I'm not entirely sure of this just because I stopped playing right after that patch and didn't get through the new ZA and ZG) wasn't it revealed/implied that the group that instigated the uprisings of the Amani, Sandfury, and Gurubashi was a defacto, rogue group of trolls that didn't necessarily represent the empire as a whole or a majority of them? I had thought (hoped, perhaps) that was clarified in the lore of the dungeons, and my friend said it seemed like it was, but I'm not sure. I guess the only reason that it couldn't work for Yari's storyline is that, whether the Zandalari all went bad or just a few of them, they did leave Yojamba sometime right after Deathwing started going craycray. But all the same, her studying the trollish form of the priesthood is very interesting, and I hope you can find some way to work that out ^_^

Oh yeah, I did get that implication (I made that conclusion based on the Zandalari emissary hanging out at Bambala who I ran crying to, to tattle on the big bad trolls in Zul'Gurub!). He did say to sit tight because Rastakhan isn't giving orders about it now, but yeah that does mean that he WILL.
That said, though, yeah, the trolls at Yojamba Isle are gone, and that seems to be the only place where a non-troll can visit the Zandalari. I don't think Yari would be welcome at Zandalar itself. When Meiles visits Zuldazar he leaves Yari behind with another troll named Jin'thekk back in Sen'Jin
I did kinda work it out, in a way. I just decided to have her begin dabbling in troll priesthood much earlier on, with that troll priest trainer in org. It did present me with more interesting events, actually :3

We had a RP event at Barrens. We were just about to attack our "enemis" when sky turned red. Me and my friend at Skype started to laugh and cry at the same time "NOOO NOOO!" He took off with his flying mount, and I soulstoned! XD We both died :<
