[EDIT: Wow years later I look at this again and think, "Meh, the colors are so dull." So I did a minor tweak and YAY looks so much better now
I usually don't go back to my old works, but I kinda liked this one, soooooo......]Sorry, couldn't think of a title
Akabane Kuroudo from Getbackers. I actually don't watch Getbackers; I just saw one episode and he was in it, and I instantly liked the character! More than the way he looks, I think I love him for the way he talks and smiles ^^
Just wanted to do a bit of darker art. My stuff is so annoyingly cheery lately I'm afraid I'm irritating people, hahaha

I know his original name is Kurodo (Claude) Akabane, but there's a lot o fans that call him Doctor Jackal, I call him either name because it honestly doesn't matter; he's still Aka-chan!!
*ahem* anyways, enough of my side-yappings..
I finally declare that Akabane is now my personal favorite on Getbackers, I mean c'mon, psychotic-courteous-demonic-tease; what more could any fangirl ask for??? 
The cracks that blend with the picture perfectly, nothing could be adjusted because it's already at its highest awesome-ness level, the blood doused within the window sparks attention with the ooze, when I first looked at this, I honestly put my fingers on the full screen pic and thought it was real for just a split second (yea I know, I'm weird 
PS: It's weird, but whenever Aka-chan's hat is removed his hair has strands upwards; wouldn't his hair be down or something?? o.o;;

Oh, the shattered glass was actually easy! What I did was that instead of drawing the cracks on the drawing itself, I drew it on a separate piece of paper then just put it over the drawing in a new layer. That way it's easier to render it

Akabane creeps me out. @__@ I think it's his slow, quiet way of talking and the way he looks at people. But I love love love the way you render glass. I think this pose and angle fit him perfectly.
