Are you friggen serious? Thats what I hate about this deviant art they allow things like photos that are borderline Porn! because of there sponsor, but they will delete art thats hand drawn and not even under age children and remove it because its Nude.... Un real...

*sigh* I feel like I have to explain this to everyone. It's not because it was hand drawn. It's because the characters themselves are under 18. That's why the rest of my drawings were allowed to stay up. Sado was kept up because he wasn't showing any pubes like Ichigo was.

I mean, I didn't like it either, but rules are rules, and you do agree with them when you sign up with DA. You don't want to follow their rules, you're always free to leave the site. None of us are bound here.

Well I take it as a big deal, for something as simple, unaffecting as fanservice on certain fanarts, for it to be allowed for 6 to 9 years since the beginning of this Global site, to be twisted into a underaged bullshit switch shut case in just a manner of seconds from the staff which does a horrid job is just a total backstab to the memebers, and the fanart community, especially the members that pay with they're money for special access & privleges on this for premium memberships, it may be they're site legally, but the limit of this abuse has far gone off the deep end thanks to this, leaving isn't an option to those who have true repsect for they're art, one day the ball isn't gonna be in they're court

If I had an decent PS skills and was an actual anime artist, and for something that I had drawn years ago, and that pic had stayed there perfectly content, and unoffending anyone, until a sudden rule was altered, and I was told I had drawn Child Porn and it was taken down, I'd be deeply offended and outraged for that matter, and fight that bullshit system, until things were set back to normal

I don't see why people are acting as if they're entitled to this. DA is not a country where people have no choice but to stay and therefore challenge the government. It's a website that has terms of service that members have to agree on if they want to participate. Leaving is ALWAYS an option. No one is making anyone stay at DA. People are here because DA does give you quite a bit of exposure because of its large communities, regardless of what people may think of their service. Staying here is not a right, it's a privilege.

There are plenty of other sites that allow the stuff that DA doesn't allow. There's Fur Affinity and there's Hentai Foundry. I don't know much about Fur Affinity, but I know that at Hentai Foundry, your art has to meet certain standards or else it won't be allowed to be displayed on the site. Again, many people think that's bullshit that their art doesn't get accepted, but again, who's forcing you to submit it to them?

I'm the one who had her stuff taken down here, and while there's the initial surprise and annoyance, at the end of the day, I just shrug and take it somewhere else. And everyone else is getting their panties in a bunch.

No, I did move on, by taking my stuff to Hentai Foundry, where it's allowed and appreciated. The other stuff, I keep here on DA. What's so hard to understand about that?

Other artists have done the same. They took their stuff out of DA, and moved their galleries elsewhere.

Besides, giving up means I was fighting it in the first place. I wasn't. Like I said, to me, it's not a big deal. I'm not going to whine like a little kid. I'm a big girl, I know what rules are.

Seriously, working in a school, I've had my own experience with laying down rules, and sometimes, in order to keep big offenders from doing anything, you sadly have to throw in the negligible offenders along with them. It's not easy. Many people, when they whine about rules, are talking about things they don't understand.

I doubt you'll see my point no matter how I explain it, though. I do see yours, because I initially did feel that way too, but it's really no different from whining to your parents that you have a curfew. Don't want a curfew? Move out of your parents' house, then. Can't afford it? Tough luck, stay there and follow their rules.
