It must be tiring to work for the mob, more so for Demos.jisuk made me read something last night, and it reminded me of the fact that a while ago, I actually had a crush on Ferris. And I've been thinking about that all day today, so after I did enough work on some commissions, I decided to wind down for the evening by doing a quick sketch of a poor tired older Ferris.
Originally he was supposed to have a Red Bull in his hand, but decided a gun would be better

This is excellent work. It conveys an appropriate sense of frustration and exhaustion.
I have days like this, but I usually put my gun away before collapsing onto the couch or armchair.Β Stress + unsecured gun is never a good combo.Β I'm only half-joking, I'm a police detective and I often feel so stressed that I'm glad I've secured my weapon at the end of the day.Β I wouldn't put any holes in myself, but I'd be tempted to shoot televisions or walls or alarm clocks.Β
I think this is one of my favorites from you.Β It tells a story without being overt and uses body language very appropriately.

Haha I know that feeling! Not that I've ever really held a real gun (except for nervously and very very carefully briefly holding a revolver I once found in the drawer of my mom's office desk). But I have been tempted to mess some things up with a baseball bat, haha (geez, I sound like some stupid punk).
You're a police detective? I would never have guessed from your penguin drawings, haha. That's... Kind of adorable XD

Yes, I've been a police detective for three years and a police officer for six years before that.Β I try not to bring too much of my work home with me, and I don't find my job inspires much art.Β What little I do creatively is more of an escape from my career than a channel for my career.
I don't think you should avoid sketchy drawings, especially if you use body language as well as you did here.

Heh, one would think that there's a lot of material to be had from your job, but I guess someone in your position would want a break from it as well.
I'm not saying I would avoid sketchy drawings, since I love doing them. I was more concerned about whether or not I should bother uploading them on DA
