Queensland 65,000 B.C.E. 12:08 AMA large male Megalania rests under the full-moon sky of the Pleistocene Outback. Unlike the marsupials such as the Thylacine and Thylacoleo, this giant is not an active predator. It's body is incapable of providing enough heat to get it to predate at night. But come dawn, it'll be a different story entirely.
