Just a quick idea on how Sobble could evolve.When I started drawing them, I wanted all of them to be based on sports, but now I am more keen on the entertainment theme.
Middle Stage
Name: Lizard + Cautious= Lizious
Type: Water
Pokedex:
(Sword) Lizious rather stays in the water without moving very much. If it spots a predator, it will quickly make itself invisible.
(Shield) Lizious always knows when you walk by it. It is very cautious about it's surroundings and will always knows what's happening around it.
Final Stage
Name: Calm + Chameleon = Calmeon
Type: Water Psychic
Pokedex:
(Sword) Formerly Calmeon used it's fin to catch Pokemon whilst swimming in rivers. Today it has become the inspiration for a very popular sport.
(Shield) Without even looking, Calmeon can see everything happening in a 100 meter radius around itself. You won't see it coming if it detects you as a threat and many have already had to pay for this.
