MM: Well, what do we have here? A scheme of my humble and royal entity? This Tracy Yardley!-person is most decidedly the best artist describing my magnificent figure which I have perfected during my reign of Mobius as The Founder of Ixis Order...It is most regretful that we have not yet had pleasure to envisage more of this ambidextrous and dexterous artist's works of art lately...

That's not enough for him, he wants to crush his opponents and show that he's superior. He's egotistical to a fault, and though he's a freakin' genius, once someone worthy like Sonic, Tails and the Freedom Fighters oppose him, he's dead-set on proving that he's the greater opponent =3 He even goes so far as to tell Sonic that though he's learned he can't defeat him, he's going to wait him out through his immortality, and take over when he's either dead or too old to fight.
Besides, Mobius Prime *Sonic's world* is one of the only main zones Mogul couldn't destroy back when he was a god because Tails, as the Chosen One, stopped him. So I think he feels this need to conquer Mobius, cause it's one of the only zones that's ever been able to step up and say "No, too bad, back off tusk nose" xP
