Description HEY GUYS!!

it's been a while huh...

so for my next project i've decided to take a little break from doing digital works and go back doing traditional projects, and i've had a mind set on doing a painting. i've hadn't done a painting in such a very VERY long time and i did do some sketch some ideas that will work and will really stand out.  i've started out with some extremely detailed sketches that were going pretty much going a little overboard.  then i've sketched out something simpler and realize that the simple sketches were tipping in my favor in creating the right image that will into this painting that i'm planing to do.  the image on the painting is the image i've chose for this work and after transferring onto the canvas, i've started thinking about something of the paints that i've done when i was in high school.  i remember this technique that i used on my paintings was taking paper towels and attached them onto the canvas with gesso.  so doing a little bit of light sketching, i've planned out where i'll be placing the paper and instead of paper towels i've used crinkled up printing paper.  it was i little bit more difficult since i'm wasn't using a lighter material so i ended using double sided tape on some of the paper so it doesn't fly away and i could get the gesso on the paper to the canvas.  after painting the image, i've painted the gessoed paper with spray paint and added the last bit of details with white gouache.  i've remember the paintings i've done in the past that the image was i little bit blocky, so i thought using quill pen and ink to outline the image and add some hatching for a little bit more shading. at first i thought that the ink will bleed but turned out OK.

i guess you could say this painting was basically a trial and error process with planning the right image for the painting and trying out new techniques and using old ones, and i'm pretty happy with the results

anyway i hope you guys like it
