My edit for the group challenge No.9The original photo belongs to
I opened the original tiff file in Adobe's ACR & done a general overall tone adjustment & sharpen.
Then in CS5, cleaned up the sky a little, took out the aerials with the clone brush & cropped it to remove the tree. Cloned out the remaining leaves & shadows on the path. Duplicated the file & converted it to mono with the infra-red filter applied, set to luminosity in layers ( set to 25% opacity) + layer mask & black gradient to transparent, to remove the layer from the sky
Finally de-noised in CS5

my entry uses the canal boats seen in my original photo canal as a base but then for the rest it will be stock
so far the file size has been close to 1gb
