Description
Robb Phipps is an amazing pin-up artist - not very strong on finesse, but very affective, his heroines (both muscular and "regular-sized"), just leaping off the page/screen at the viewer. He has a great new page at www.comicartfans.com/GalleryDe⦠where you can see a huge collection of his eBay and commissioned work, contact the man himself -and maybe get a buff Wonder Woman to call you own...
Anyway, here are my colors for a favorite Phipps drawing.
EDIT: Spruced Jes up, a bit...

"It's even HARDER being a man looking at a woman looking the way you do."

This is epic, I really wish more people would draw Jessica Rabbit as a hot muscle babe (I'd do it myself but I can't even draw stick figures)

Well, if you love muscular ladies you can't really go wrong with Robb Phipps (and Yatz colors make everything even yummier, right?)

Sure hope Roger doesn't get so intimidated by her working out that he experiences ... "performance anxiety" issues ...

Let's hope there will be a sequel to that movie - with a new cast.

It was quite a long time ago, but I would guess painting Jessica would have been 4-5 hours.

You mean, besides the usual doom & gloom? Well, I have been thinking about doing a series of super-heroine fights in Chicago; now, if I could only find some hi-res photos to use as background...!

Gorgeous colouring! I think you've also improved the line art in the underlying drawing too (which was fantastic to start with as well). Thanks, man!

I basically followed Robb's lines as is - this is what gives the painting the power; the rendering gives it the softer edge. All-in-all, I'm very happy with the result...
