Been wanting to do a Santanico pin-up for a long time - did one ages ago, when my technique really sucked, and I wanted to have another go at it.Finished the sketch in under an hour, but now it will probably take me years to color - want to give it the full treatment, hopefully try BG and shading to match the movie scene. So, in the meantime, here is the sketch, which I really like. hopefully I'll be back on it sometime this decade...

"From Dusk Till Dawn" was a vampire flick, directed by Robert Rodriguez from a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino. Tarantino also palyed one of the leads, as one of a pair of homicidal killer brothers. His brother, by the way, is George Clooney. The movie is a freakin' gory mess that features some of the coolest people alive - Harvey Keitel, Danny Trejo, Fred Williamson, Tito Larriva (Mex muzico) - to name but a few.
But the greatest name is Salma Hayek - she's only on for a few minutes, but these are the minutes that make the whole movie worth watching (and seeing again. And again). Salma Hayek - 30 years old, best body anywhere, anytime, black bikini - doing a sort of belly dance with a giant white snake on her shoulders, then proceeding to drip-feed taquila to Tarantino (the vamp-queen way), fuck Clooney up a bit - only to be all-too-soon dispatched.
Elee - get the movie. Do it now. Your life will be changed forever (don't take my word for it - take Jebriodo's. He knows).
