;;; *sucks*So. I've started work on another chaptered PPG fanfic that I'll be posting/updating along side of Autrefois. So before you see chapter 5 of Autrefois, you'll have to put up with chapter 1 of Villain.
And for those who are not fans of femslash, THIS FIC IS FOR YOU! xD;; It will NOT be a romance story GASP. Though there WILL be romance in it, it will not be the core plot of the fic. It will be very angsty and more of the good old horror stories I wrote once upon a time before the PPG fandom.
Ahem. Anywhoooo. Villain will be starring Buttercup, as well as the... well... VILLAINS of Townsville. Specifically a few... who... I don't want to mention yet. O:
I'm hoping to have the first chapter up later this week. We'll just see how that goes heh.

I loved this Story.. So sad, didn't feel much for the sequel though... I just want to give her a hug and be replaced with Princess XD...

Yes, I remember that story. Sounds like it definitely had ta happen.
I also remember fansites where people wrote and posted fanfiction mostly in the exact style of the show and in script format, as if they wanted more than anything to have 'em turned into episodes. True, there were some more mature ones on the side, but fanfiction.net really grabbed my attention. Still, it wouldn't be until 2005 that I'd find more and fully realize just how much I HATED the way they overlooked Buttercup on the show. Even many of the aforementioned people never seemed to care (the folks of PPGWorld, Pokey Oaks Fanfic Library, rowdyruff.net, you know who you are).
True again, I'd seen a few that addressed the problem in a fair manner. I even wrote my own, though I essentially ripped off someone else's work that WASN'T fer PPG. But it wasn't until I read this and its sequel that I never looked at the franchise the same way ever again. If King Moonraiser, Spitfire, omniweapon, and company ever came across these, they'd flip their lids. Such detail. Such emotion. Such nihilism. "There is no such thing as good. There are only different types of evil."
Okay, pardon my flattery. I gotta say, though, had both fics or just the first ever been broadcast, it probably would've destroyed what the show had for a goodwill image. I only hope Cartoon Network, Time Warner, and the Tartakovsky Banner (mostly Craig McCracken, of course) have the right kind of insurance or whatever.

Thanks! Heh, she's supposed to be more "ugly" than cool as it's described in my fanfic, but personally I think scars are more awesome than "ugly."
