BACKSTORY:
Before becoming the powerful and ruthless Admiral Megatron, this individual was a Knight of Iacon named Dion, one of the closest friends of the Legendary Optimus Prime, his egg was left in front of Boltville City Hall, a small village completely far from any of the great metropolises of Cybertron. Dion grew up surrounded by people who loved him very much, especially his mother, who did everything in his power to make sure he had the happiest life possible. Dion was one of only five children in the entire village, the others being Orion, Elita, Ironhide and Ratchet, as they were the only children in the village, they got along very well together and would do anything by each other's side, they were always running around and playing together, especially Orion and Dion, the two lived very close to each other, Dion was always going to sleep at Orion's house and vice versa. The five shared the dream of becoming Knights of Iacon, powerful super-powered warriors who defended Cybertron from threats that normal armies could not handle, the five of them dreamed of being Knights, especially Dion, who dreamed even bigger, Dion dreamed of being the Prime Knight, the most powerful Knight of all and the leader of the entire order, but this dream was practically impossible, taking into account that only the richest young people in Iacon became Knights, and they were not from Iacon much less rich, so they gradually gave up on that dream... Except for Dion, who spent the next few years training martial arts and learning military tactics to at least enlist in the Cybertronian Elite Guard, as Dion grew up, he learned more about the world and about Cybertron, and then, he gradually saw how unfair society was, and how the rich were nothing more than parasites who only existed to steal from the poor, Dion believed he could fix things, fix Cybertronian society forever , even if it was based on strength and fear, and this feeling only took over his mind more and more, and consequently, this thought caused Diom to move away from his friends.

When Dion and the rest were 17 years old (at least it is equivalent to 17 years in Cybertronian years), the impossible happened, Orion Pax, a humble boy from an isolated village, and above all, Dion's best friend, was chosen to become the great Prime Knight, the one who broke Dion's heart, thoughts took over Dion, "what does he have that I don't have???", "I trained my whole life for this while he sat around doing nothing, who I had to receive this title!", but then, Orion imposed that he would only accept the title if his friends became Knights along with him. And that's how the five of them realized their childhood dreams, especially Dion.

Dion was extremely happy that he finally realized his dream, but he was also hurt and bitter because of the envy he felt towards Orion, an envy that only grew as Orion became more and more beloved among the population of Cybertron, this bitter envy combined with his hatred for the current state of Cybertronian society, it consumed Dion's heart, which made him become the most violent and cruel Knight of Iacon in the history of the Order, earning the title "Dion: The Bloodthirsty". The day before Optimus Prime's battle against the terrible world-devouring cosmic entity Unicron, Zeta Prime, one of the Original Thirteen Primes and the leader of the nation of Kaon, went to Dion's room to make him a proposal, Zeta said that Dion was his favorite Knight of the entire Order, and who not only knew, but also agreed with Dion's worldview, and also knew about the envy that Dion felt towards Orion, making the proposal that Dion would take Orion's place, as long as Dion helped him eliminate all the Knights of Iacon and twelve other Primes, so that Zeta could repair Cybertron's society through his new Empire, and that if Dion accepted, he would become one of the three admirals of his army, with the other two having already agreed to help in this nefarious plan, Dion says that she would only accept on one condition; that he would only kill Orion and no one else, and Zeta then accepts this condition.

After Orion Pax/Optimus Prime killed Unicron, Zeta Prime's plan would be put into practice, Dion then offered to take Optimus with his depleted energy to Ratchet, so that he could take care of Optimus, and thus, Dion would have the perfect opportunity to simply stick a blade into Orion's spark while he was unconscious, but Dion hesitated, he didn't have the strength to kill one of the people he loved most in the world, so instead, Dion just put Orion inside a hibernation chamber and dropped the ship into a ravine, while he fled with an escape pod, so that no one could ever find and wake Orion again.

While Dion buried Orion in the middle of the desert, Zeta Prime was executing the Slaughter Protocol, a protocol that forced all military and police forces on Cybertron to hunt down and eliminate the entire Order of Knights of Iacon, and meanwhile, Zeta also used his psychic powers to manipulate the minds of the bodyguards of the other Primes and thus kill them, one by one, with the only Knights being spared being Dion, Tuck and Ludge who would become the three leaders of their powerful army, the three were rebuilt and improved, gaining new powers and abilities and becoming much more powerful than they used to be as Knights, they also received new names as well, Tuck became Tarn, Ludge became Overlord, and Dion became Megatron, and thus the Decepticon Empire was born and also the three leaders of his mighty army.

Megatron's first act as Admiral of the Decepticon Empire was to completely erase Boltville from the map, using a powerful super-ion cannon, Megatron completely destroyed the city, also killing all of its inhabitants, including Elita's father, Ratchet's mother, Orion's parents, as well as his own mother, were all completely incinerated and killed. Megatron did this as a way to completely erase his past, and focus completely on his future, and also so that it would serve as a demonstration of the power of the great Decepticon Empire, and that nothing could stop them....

What Megatron didn't expect was that four random miners would find and wake up Orion, and that together, they would start a revolution that would make the entire galaxy shake.
