i can read it, and was tryin real hard, but the guide don explain HOW to make a black 2 whitee gradient... i found gradient map under adjustments, but it won let me make a black 2 white gradient ...

put front colour on white back colour to black(or press "d" and than "x")
then draw a line with the gradient thingy vertical...youve got your gradient

didn't use it for anything, but it was fun to try. of course my head hurts from squinting, but its time to medicate anyway.
