I do this too! Since I first saw he on Sonic 3 & Knuckles it become my #1 character. I always like to play with he, even on SMS/GG games.

I had a tendency to do the same, and yes, the flying ability was certainly a factor in that. X3 But I also like his color scheme...it's a nice contrast to Sonic's dark blue.
