In my early days here in DeviantArt, I came across a concept of a survival video game, set in a post-apocalyptic future, where mankind went extinct in the island of Manhattan, and the player would control feral animals that now live in the abandoned concrete jungle: ( www.deviantart.com/yellowpanda…). The concept was old and I took too much seriousness with it and I ended up not evolving the idea.

However, nowadays, here I am rebooting that same concept, just to give it a little bit of more vivacity. The title of the game is ManHattan, with emphasis on the Man, which is absent in the island. The player would control an animal living in the abandoned city, growing from newborn to full adult, surviving, eating and drinking, as well as mating and ensuring the survival of its descendence. The game would have started with only one playable animal, the cat, but would eventually evolve for players to futurely have the potential to control many more species of feral creatures, exploring the deserted and super-complex map of the abandoned buildings that cover the isolated island.
