Description
An illustration of Potamolambda longis, a speculative pantolambdoid pantodont from the Late Paleocene of Atlantis, 56 million years ago. Here it enjoys the view of the swampy river, with the company of a Pseudondatra, an aquatic ptilodontid multituberculate, while a Betlehemys stellus, a trionychine turtle, rests behind a log in the background.Potamolambda longis was a species I created for the Atlantis Phase I, a speculative evolution contest focused on an hypothetical island in the north Atlantic ocean, in the late Paleocene.
Pseudondatra was submitted by Armin (can't recall correctly, though, correct me if wrong)
