Ep.06: Apex Protégée

Afte the deadly encounter, the giant Basilosaurus mother succeeded in the fight against the giant Otodus shark. They now feed on the shark meat. Basilosaurus large portion of their diet is indeed the large amount of shark species that inhabit these waters. Byelo chews a piece of Otodus flesh. Unlike the cetaceans that will one day rule the oceans after these monsters perish, Basilosaurus chew their food before they consume it. Byelo first plays around with its food, just like many infant mammals, but it eventually procceeds to swim away with its prize, before the Otodus carcass becomes a feeding frenzy for many other smaller sharks, like this Galeocerdo alabamensis.
