Ep.09: Shark Killer

Byelo is now three years old. And in the morning, a Galeocerdo shark has found its fate. The young male Basilosaurus rushes and opens its mouth to kill the predator, this time, without the help of his mother. Basilosaurus are usually shark-eaters, they comprise most of their diet, and ultimately, if Byelo is able to hunt these with little trouble, it dictates that Byelo will soon be ready to live on its own. Byelo is still not far away from being fully weaned, and eventually, Byelo will have to learn to live entirely... on its own.
