Description
For a project at school. We had to do a piece of artwork by using some other artists piece as inspiration and portraing the feelings and interpitations that the piece of art awoke in us. I used Minjae Lee's piece "dace2" [link] . We were supposed to do only one piece but I wanted to do three since that piece was so inspiring. I experimented a lot on the works I did for this project and it was great fun.This one was about what kind of sounds could be heard from the piece of art.
I usually don't upload stuff I did at school but this one I basicly did at home. XD And I was struggling on weather to upload this or not but I haven't done much of anything else in a while so I wanted to upload something.

I like it very much :3 but it looks a little, little bit empty, compared to that original artwork that you used (which looked really interesting btw

well, I don't want to do it similar to the original artwork.. But Many people have pointed out the pale skin so I think I'll make it darker.

Somehow, lack of shading on the body hurts me... I understand it could be your idea for the picture, though

I was trying to make her look pale and the colors looked darker when I was making it but thanks for your advice, I'll make it a little bit darker before I turn it over to the teacher! >.<

Maybe not darker, but you could shade her with a bit different color... Like, with green...

Ack I totally can empathize to that! DX Like, I've been drawing so much recently and everything seems so good when I draw it but when I take even a little break and look at the piece I realize that it's pure CRAP and get so deppressed and frustrated.. DX I tend to see all the fucking mistakesss... But YOU have all sorts of awesome things in addition of mistakes, I don't have those at all! I only have mistakes! No talent!!!

Yeah.. That's why I take a brake of my works and take a look at it later before I finish it so I can see the mistakes then better and I can fix them too. O.o

Well, yeah.. I don't literally throw them away, I tend just to leave the picture on the desk and walk away from it real frustrated or throw on the floor and get a new paper which ends up with the exact same fate. XDD
