ah much better!! shadows look a lot better, i love to see a better camera angle though, this one doesn't do justice to those objects.

If i knew how to setup good render scenery i would try to get some nice angles. I look at your 'roller' and wonder how did you managed to do side view and cover the edge between floor and walls (i think it's some kind of box, where the objects are placed).

well it's actually an extruded spline in the shape of a 'C' but you can go with a box and delete the sides..leave top, bottom, back. the only problem with that, you might get some bad shadow artifacts in the corners. also for that scene i used 3 area lights, one on each side and one over head with a blue tint. hope that helps.

Yes it does, and thanks for the tip with vray light. Soft shadows are more realistic and pleasing to watch.

Yep. As I said, always try to use Vray lights, as they behave more physically accurate: they bounce on surfaces, and go trough objects. A standart light doesn't do that.
