It. Is. FINALLY. DONE! I don't know how many freakin' hours I spend on all that RUST.

My first drawing of Rusty! In all his Rustyness! 
It was so much fun You could just... mess around and turn it into GOOD mess and - hell it was fun. Oh yes it was. I will do it again. Perhaps. And I knoow I messed his costume up on a few (more) points and the colours aren't matching the original at (most/)some things. And like I just skipped the wheels and rods on his trousers. Oh and the background. It's awful. I know.
It was supposed to be a short and fun colouring and was startet that way - turned out like 10 hours work. Short and fun colouring, for sure Anyhow! I'm happy it's finished. Oh yes I am.

I'm really glad that you like it so much and appreciated your kind words 
I tried to make the perspective a bit clearer by adding that rails... after my mother constantly complained: "His leg is too short!" "Mum, that's perspective." "...Yeah well - it looks to short!"
Nevertheless - I suppose the leg is still too short in her oppinion, but I can live with that
Just kidding - it's not perfect, but I like the way it is now and .. yep

Well, it still looks good, and don't worry. Even the professionals get it wrong sometimes. I know of one webcomic where the heroine was trying to silence someone by putting her hand on his mouth: said panel was well-drawn and beautifully colored, but one day I suddenly noticed that the characters were out of porportion. The heroine was far too BIG next to the man, but it didn't detract from how good the image looked.
Trivia fact: did you know that the distance between the "heads" of the rails on a track is known as the gauge (Spurweite)? [link] Germany and America both use the "standard gauge" which is 1,435 mm. See? That's why you need to use perspective for Rusty's legs.

Das ist mit SAI gemalt, das stimmt, aber der "Trick" funktioniert auch bei anderen Grafikprogrammen (PSE, Gimp). Einfach das Sketch/Lineart Layer auf "Multiply"/"Multiplizieren" setzen und darunter Die Farben auftragen. Also ein Layer darunter verwenden C: Dann überliegt das Lineart und man kann bequem auch gescanntes colorn
