I love the use of the art deco lines on the background.

  This card is surely a knock-out.  So it comes from the Art Deco era, eh?  I remember loving this style at a very early age.

It is a more modern art style than the ones we saw from them before the great war, they adapted with trend and taste changes, plus a lot of their older artists were pushing retirement anyway. The company continued on with printing cards but did less post cards as we pushed closer to the next big war. Duofold cards, calendars, children’s books and ephemera would be their best sellers through the mid 20th century.

How interesting.    Somewhere, I'm sure I have one f their little books, with this same style of Art Deco illustration.  I have always enjoyed it very much.
