EDIT: April 20th, 2014 - Woohoo! This commission of mine has always been the one that was favourited by more people than any other, but now it has ONE THOUSAND FAVES!===============================================================================
When I want to commission pictures of the Powerpuff Girls as adults, I always know that Palcomix (and bbmbbf ) are one of the best there is, they really always make the grown-up girls look absolutely beautiful. And this is definitely no exception to that.
I had this idea a little while back y'see, for a story about the 'Puffs through the ages. It'll never get written though, 'cos when I try to write fanfiction I have less of an attention span than a goldfish, and quickly get bored and start playing Carmageddon instead.
The concept was that the girls were originally born a long time ago as triplets, into a world of chaos and evil, but were blessed by a wise old woman who made it so that each time they died, they would be reborn in forms more powerful than they were before, in order to combat the growing evil in the world, and hopefully to eventually beat it back for good. This culminates in the current re-incarnation of the girls as the Powerpuff Girls...
....and a few re-incarnations later maybe, with the girls finally ascending to become full-fledged divinities.
Buttercup has become the Goddess of War, as she's rather impulsive and high-strung at times. Based on Ares/Mars, obviously.
Bubbles is the Goddess of Love, as she's the gentle, caring one, as well as a friend to all living things (or at least tries to be). Based on Aphrodite/Venus.
Blossom is the Goddess of the Earth, the voice of reason that mediates between Buttercup's more violent tendencies and Bubbles "softly-softly" approach to all matters. Based mostly on Athena. Believe it or not, also the goddess of Basket-Weaving. Yeah.

O-oh... this has gotta be the most gorgeous incarnations of the Powerpuff Girls I have ever witnessed on this site!
Seriously, I really appreciate the lovely visuals and especially the rather lovely gorgeous goddess designs of the girls! First, let me discuss about Buttercup, who in which I gonna say looks quite beautifully fitting being the Goddess of War that obviously is a nod to her battle-ready fighting nature...
Next, how about I talk about lovely ol' Blossom here... Β her hair, her calm and pretty expression, her stunning color-matching pink gown, and her gold fruit hat... it all nails down the whole "goddess" design very well... as well as her also being the leader Goddess of reason to also fit her personality quite well...
Finally... last, but DEFINITELY not least, the Goddess of Love herself... the absolute best and better one in this, in my opinion at least, Bubbles!!!
As if Blossom and Buttercup weren't already gorgeous enough, by combining their already stunning looks into one and it brings us Bubbles! Her lovely side silt dress, her blue cape, everything!!! Good thing that she is labeled as the Goddess of Love too, cause I guess I would love to be held in her arms and have my face be lovingly stroked by her hands...
Now, what makes the three equally beautiful here is their eyes and... sandals, in which they all each look good in them...
Long story short, I pay you my respects for being responsible for such beautiful re-designs of everybody's already favorite girls!

Yes, I am responsible for thinking up these re-designs of the Powerpuff Girls as the classical Greek goddesses. All of them are very lovely, particularly Bubbles as the goddess of love, she's always been my favourite too. Their beautiful eyes, their lovely faces, those strappy traditional sandals... what's not to adore about all of them?
As much as I loved this picture - which I commissioned to make for me, there were a few quite small things which I wanted to tweak about the designs, and of course I just wanted to commission more of them. So I decided to commission another friend of mine to make portraits of them some years later - this time, I contacted - and, well, you can see for yourself. I think they came out even better (there were a couple of issues with Buttercup's purple hair, the inexplicable bicycle-shorts, and her trident should've been a spear. A trident would be more Poseidon-like than Ares), as well as other even smaller design touches.

(And of course I'm currently in the process of having my versions of the Powerpuffs redrawn again by my good friend J8d - Kiddie and Teen forms so far, Adult and Goddess forms to follow)

Oh, and now that I know that you ARE responsible for the designs, allow me to once again pay you my respects for this 100%! Despite this being some of the first art I have seen of you, I think it's safe to still say that you have outdone yourself here...

Right now, all I feel like doing right now is bowing before each of them and kissing their hands respectfully as a way to lovingly admire them and their beauty...
