Okay, so hear me out - this was a cute little idea I had for a scene based on "The Secret Garden", which I got Bing to create for me:

Mary Lennox is mostly dressed, minus her shoes, and eating a hearty breakfast. Martha (the young maid) notices that Mary's white stockings are a little dusty from going without her shoes, and decides to playfully... "clean" the little miss' feet with her feather duster!

Martha is quite young for a chamber-maid and prone to still behaving very playfully, even with her young mistress - they have a familiarity that would be considered somewhat inappropriate given their different statuses.

Anyway, this was an idea for a one-off scene, either to insert somewhere in the original story, or as the opening to a sequel, I'm not entirely sure (I do have a vague idea for a sequel involving Mary going to Frankfurt and making friends with Klara Sesemann and later Heidi, so there's that....)
