Description
This is a little glimpse into the life of a vigilante superhero. In the world known as the MMO "Champions Online" that's exactly what I am.This is me, in game, in my normal civilian School Teacher outfit, and in my more Hero-type outfit, known as the Huntress Shiko. Awesome game, tons of fun, and highly diverse character creation.
City of Heroes, move over. Champions Online has arrived.

I'm a CoH/CoV player.
I've heard of Champions, but since I also play WoW, I can't afford a third MMO. both money and time wise.

After playing Champions Online, I've decided not to return to CoH/CoV, seeing as Champions will be coming out with a Villains Xpack in the future. And CO is all the things CoH wanted to be, but failed at. I also still play WoW, but forsee more money in the future, with Star Trek Online, and Star Wars: Knights of the Republic on the horizon.

The kind that usually is calm on his missions, but can get very hot-headed when friends are in danger. I usually go armed.

It's just a fantasy of being a superpowered/vigilante type character, just like WoW is about being a fantasy type character.

lol, but superpowers are less fun and less creative.. I guess it's just not my thing, still seems silly to me, but oh well

Less fun and less creative? That would depend on a lot of things. Theoretically, you could have a simple power like Wall-Crawling for example, and have to use it in creative ways.
That just goes for superpowers in general. In-game, it really is no different from WoW. I love WoW but I love Champions more because I'm a comic-book nerd and I love seeing characters I create come to life and kick arse on screen.

gameplay wise I think you mean, because medieval fantasy stories and superheroes are very different.. =x I do think that it was an original idea though, there wasn't really a superhero MMO out till this and one other whose name I forget =x

Yeah I meant in gameplay, but it could also apply to stories/comics/etc. There are some superheroes who have to be very creative with their powers in comics because they aren't very powerful, etc. I still love WoW and I love Age of Conan. I think the other superhero MMO you meant was City of Heroes/Villains? That one was ok but so far I'm a lot more impressed with Champions.
