The Fisher Price Family Treehouse. I used to see it at garage sales and at preschool.

OMG I just realized, this tree is a toy I used to see in the 80s that I wished was mine. This old Fisher Price sort of thing.

I've seen huge and ancient trees like these and haven't needed to trek 6 hours into the forest. We have 300 year old oaks and maples in the parks here and I adore just sitting and talking to them.
11 years ago a huge storm ripped through the area and some of the trees were uprooted and broken off. I had to go out to find a phone that I could use to call my Partner and then my parents; but as soon as I left the house all I could hear were trees Screaming. By the time I returned to the house I was sick and vomited. After our street was cleared and I could go back to work all I could hear was the Trees. I can still hear them in my memory.
It drives me mad when people cut down a perfectly good tree or worse, use that tree-grinder thingy on the sides of the road. I **am** sorry. I've run on at the mouth. Trees are Goddesses to me.

I love trees! My favoritest forests and trees I've visited personally would probably have to be the Olympic Rainforest in Washington State. It's like the Redwoods but smaller and covered in a carpet of super clean moss everywhere. I try to drive there from Oklahoma every other year or so since I was a child.
Then there's the red woods, I love going there as much as I can too.
And I've recently got to visit the Sequoia National Forest which is a very special place. And when I went through Siberia by train there were about 3-4 days straight of massive giant snow covered pines and other evergreens as far as you could see.
When I was in Germany I was surprised by how huge and warped the giant old oaks were in the little city parks. Very magical looking. I guess I'd say this tree looks closest to those old oaks in western Europe I saw.

How big is this tree character of yours, in comparison to an adult human?

I'd say an adult human would be about as tall as half the tree's mouth.

So basically this tree is big enough to give King Kong some real trouble...given of course 'Old Man Grove' is up for such things.
