For the MLP-ATG-Alumni's week 12 day 2 theme: Draw Applejack.I'm just starting to teach myself how to paint by blending colors in photoshop, so I'm never completely satisfied when I attempt to make something look like traditional paint. But it's the best I can do for now :/

My hands flew to my head when I saw how adorable this was. I am a senior in college, and I have no dignity.
I've always felt Painter gives you better blending results than Photoshop, but on the flip side, a good friend of mine uses PS only and she always produces amazing work. I think it's just finding the right brushes and settings, and then you're off to the races.

I use PS because that's the only program I know (though wish I knew how to use as much as I'd like to). Painter?.. as in Corel Painter? I'll look it up. Thanks for the info!
