Finally, Redcloak is done! He's a goblin cleric of a high level and Xykon's right hand in the comic Oots by Rich Burlew. I love this character and I felt I had to draw some fan art of him. Just a portrait and nothing fancy. Just like I did with Vaarsuvius from the same comic.

This is before he lost his eye. Obviously.

It's made with coloured pencils and it took me forever. (Not really, but quite some time anyway). I'm fairly happy with how it came out, especially since I was very near wrecking him there for a while as I totally failed with the mouth. I managed to fix it though... somewhat. The phylactery he's wearing (the necklace) is the thingy that Xykon uses to keep his soul in so that he'll be able to regenerate if his body is destroyed. It was a bit hard to make it white and shiny at the same time. I think it turned out all right though. I am aware of the less realistic shading. The light comes from... here and there. I forgot about it totally when I made the cloak at first. Oops. Anyway, I am also aware of the anatomical fails in his face. Like the angles of the nose and the eyebrows etc. But never mind those.

He might be looking younger and prettier than your average goblin here... that's because I like him too much to make him really ugly. Hehee...
