This looks amazing! The dragon is nicly drawn. Beowulf looks a little too small for my taste, but still, it looks aweome! you mabye should blow up Mr. Beowulf up a little bit, because he looks rather small compared to the picture. The green saliva looks very very cool and neat. The bloods from the dragon looks so cool and well drawn. You should make more pictures like this, They look amazingly well, and I'm even going to watch you now! Your artwork is truly great, and I suggest you use the same tools you used here on your picture here.

So it seems that the epic here has been expressed in this work so far in the form of a picture, yes? Well, it seems that it has lived up to its mantle by depicting the few moments before the fateful clash of Grendel, the enemy of mankind itself, an encounter with the dragon. Perhaps, I should say that it was by far good to say the least considering the effort of it all; they did say that a picture is worth a thousand words and this could tell it all and leave the observer asking, and then what happened?""

I think that this picture is very good, and I like how it isn't focused on the knight, but instead is zoomed out on both the knight and the dragon. The only thing that slightly bothers me about this is that the knight's armor has texture, but the dragon has none. I'm not saying that you should rush to fix it, but it would look better against the textured ground and grass.
I also like the detail you put into the knight (Beowulf, right?).

The words "Light will be dark" also gives the picture a little special touch; I like how it blends in wit the ground a little.
When I think of a knight and a dragon fighting, I usually think of a dark and stormy sky, or maybe that's just me; I think the background should be darker instead of a bright, happy blue. I also like the neon-green venom/goo, it looks quite realistic.

All in all, nice work!

Wow, this took you twenty hours? You worked long and hard on this - I can tell - and you did a nice job. I hope my critique is able to help you improve.

This is a rather nice concept and I like the way you have the character laid out. It brings about a sense of questioning, because due to how small the man is in comparison to the dragon, it makes me wonder how he managed to wound the dragon in the stomach! There's definitely a story here, and it's a wonderful one, very fanciful to think about.

There are some areas you could improve on. First, I like the pose that you have the dragon in, but the dragon itself could use some more details and realistism. A good way to do this is to look at the pictures of dragons made by more talented artists and look at the kind of details they put on their dragons - how are the horns drawn? How are the scales drawn? How do they draw the claws, the legs, the muscles? By examining more talented artists, you can look at those pictures and apply the concepts to your own drawing here - the dragon in your pose, but with referenced details to help bring it to life. Texturing is especially useful for making a drawing really pop.

I also think this piece would have benefited from a darker backdrop. The daylight appearance somewhat draws the attention away from the dragon because the red and the blue are both equally eye-drawing. A darker backdrop would put the eye's focus on the dragon, especially with regard to the glowing bits - the eyes and the neon green saliva coming out of the mouth are exceptionally fun to look at.

I hope this was helpful.

As I said Epic.

Not much you could do with Beowulf as his character was too small to add accurate detail.
I love the dark shading under the dragons wings and abdomen.

Wow, this is just totally awesome! You sure have a lot of patience... I like the glowing effect of the eye and the green slime, and the contrast between the two characters! The blood is just awesome and the dragon is perfect.
