Description
They have a real cute look...Taken in Iceland, at Latrabjarg:
"LΓ‘trabjarg, in Iceland, marks the western-most part of Europe. It hosts millions of birds and is vital for their survival as it hosts up to 40% of the world population for some species e.g. the Razorbill. It is Europe's largest bird cliff, 14km long and up to 440m high."

Any chance you could post the picture on its own without your name in the bottom. Sorry to be a pain but I would like to put it as my wallpaper and I get distracted by those sorts of things.
Thanks

Yeah they do, I think they look like a cross between a tucan and a penguin .
Incredible detail and beautiful light.

Thanks
They're quite like plastic too if you use your imagination.
Especially when landing... they somehow often seem to crash

Aww! What a lovely shot!
Puffins are surprisingly small, aren't they?

Yinxy In reply to KirstenChocolate [2009-03-16 12:04:22 +0000 UTC]
There are 3 main species of puffins ([link] )
The size differs depending on the species.
The puffin on the photo is an Atlantic Puffin and it's size is about 28β34 cm (11-13.5 in) in length, with a 50β60 cm (20-24 in) wingspan.
Thanks for the kind comment
