Description
Just looking at this one makes me feel very jealous. This is just what I'd like to do when not doing anything else other than drawing! But that would be very irresponsible from our part. There are lots of things to do, most of them too much for someone like Flora to understand (Nuria might get it better since she's older).OK instead of calling them lazy, let's say they are busy enough looking at the dandelion seeds blowing away

Very pretty! I think dandelions are beautiful, even though most people see them as weeds. I think the perspective could be better, especially on the legs. It's a little confusing as to what they're sitting on and what angle it's being viewed from. Very cute, though!

Thanks! Same with me, too bad we don't have them here where I live. And yes, most people might find them annoying because rather than enjoying them as they fly away, they just see them as an unwelcome guest in the front of their house

Even if we adults could take time off to sit outside and enjoy the simple wonders of nature it wouldn't be as good. "Innocence" also means not having to worry about so much stuff that we take for granted in our mind. Sure, we could relax and watch them fall, but then we'd be thinking about how we'll have to be pulling weeds off our lawn or trying to figure out how the wind eddies flow to make them move like that. For them it's just magical and fun, without knowing what it's for. If a djinn shows up that feeling would be on my short list of things to wish.
The two look extremely sweet and amused by this rain of flowery goodness. As you've mentioned before, Flora is always girlish without ever being outright girly. (As opposed to Aida who has help reining in her affectations.) Yet even dressed simply there's still that one indicator: the picture of the girl picking flowers. More so it's her expression and beauty that make her natural charm. Nuria seems quite enchanted too, and very pretty in her summer dress. Since she's older and already interested in how things work maybe she's already starting to wonder about the mechanics of it all.
Then again, that's like a whole new kind of magic opening up to her, isn't it?
Anyway, all that I've yet to say how lovely and naturally posed the girls look. It really looks like Nuria is sitting on the step, though Flora looks like she's standing with the backs of her thighs pressing into the edge. That's probably not the case since it would be too uncomfortable, plus she wouldn't have her balance. I also noticed that the "parachutes" are very green, but here they're always a dirty white before they break off and fly away. (My thinking is that there must be many different types of dandelions and they don't all do that. )
Thanks for sharing another lovely scene.

Oh yeah... even if the girls find them amusing, my mom for example won't like to find those seeds on the floor of the garage (or anything similar like leaves, flowers, and such) because that would make her say "Oh sht I've got to sweep them away!"
Actually not even Aida is outright girly, since she stands for herself if needed and doesn't abuse pink when dressing. Being girly is not the first word one might use to describe the Friendsies

We have lots of them up here in Quebec. And I've been through a cloud of those white seeds!
